How the calendar and archive are built
Dates come only from organizers; archive listings come only from recovered primary sources. This page explains the rules, statuses and known limits.
Calendar statuses
- Dates confirmed: the organizer publishes exact dates on its website, ticket page or official channel.
- Announced · dates TBA: the organizer announces an edition (year, sometimes month) without exact dates.
- Dates to confirm: official pages conflict or are incomplete; we show the event but not a date.
- Rescheduled: the organizer moved the event; the original date is kept on the event page.
When official pages disagree, the most specific and most recent organizer page wins, and the conflict is described on the event page. Third-party calendars are never used as a source for dates. Each event shows the date it was last checked; the whole calendar was last reviewed on 28 October 2026.
Scope
Included: cannabis and hemp trade fairs, expos, industry and medical conferences, and consumer festivals with an exhibitor component. Excluded: online-only webinars, music-only events, cups or competitions without a fair, and general addiction conferences. Adjacent shows (for example tobacco and vape shows with a hemp section) are labelled as such.
Exhibitor archive
Exhibitor lists were rebuilt from 244 sources: organizer directories, PDF catalogues, floor plans, APIs and Wayback Machine captures. Company names are normalized (legal suffixes, known brand aliases) to group listings. Registered exhibitors of cancelled editions are kept but labelled and not counted as attendance. Listings show that a company was published as an exhibitor, partner or sponsor, not that it attended or that we endorse it.
Exhibitor websites
Historical websites from fair directories are checked automatically. We link a website only when it answered successfully and did not look parked or for sale on the last check (28 October 2026). Offline domains are shown as plain text with the check date.
Languages
The calendar, event, country and fair pages are published in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. Event names, venue names and organizer quotes are kept in their original form. The exhibitor archive and source register are in English.
Machine-readable data
Every event page carries schema.org Event data in one JSON-LD graph. The same facts are in calendar.json, calendar.ics, llms.txt and llms-full.txt. Bots and people receive the same pages.
Limits
This is broad documented coverage, not a census of every event. Local events may be missing until organizers publish details. Dates can change after we check them: always confirm with the organizer before booking travel.
